March 23-April 3rd: Spring Break (with optional makeup week 3/30-4/3)

May 18th: Early Bird Recital Tickets & Keepsakes On Sale (at 8 AM CST)

May 11th: MPD/BPD/Wood Dale Class Recital Picture Day (Times TBA)

May 25th: Show Ticket Prices Increase (at 12 AM CST)

May 29th: VIP Dance Rehearsal

June 3-8th: Last Week of Class & Family Observation

June 8-12th: Makeup Class Week

June 19th: Dress Rehearsal

The Dress Rehearsal & Show will take place at Lake Park High School - East Campus, 600 Medinah Rd., Roselle, IL 60172.

Perform an additional solo, duet, trio or small group routine in the Spring Recital!

Looking for an extra opportunity to perform in the show this year? Grab a friend(s) and sign-up for a duet, trio, or small group, or perform a solo routine!

Dancers who choose to take advantage of this opportunity will learn specialized choreography in a style of their choice, build more technique, gain confidence on stage, & so much more!

February 2nd-6th is Costume Measurement Week

**All dancers must have 1 guardian come to class with them during this week to assist in picking your dancer's costume size.

Before Measuring Week:

-Review our Costume Policies linked below.

-Have your dancer try on their previous dance costumes for comparison. Make sure to record the sizes.

How will it work?

-Parents/guardians will assist your child’s teacher in measuring them for their costume and look at the sizing charts.

-Your teacher will recommend the correct size your child measures to based on the sizing charts. Parents/guardians will sign-off on the size chosen, confirm which option of costume you want, which tight color you want, and share any other costume accommodations your dancer needs.

Tips for Measuring Week:

-Please dress your dancer in form fitting clothing (leotard, tank top, leggings recommended - no baggy pants/shirts) so we can make sure we get accurate measurements.

-View the sizing charts below that will be used in class to decide your child’s costume size. It may be helpful to be able to access these while your child is being measured.

*If your child has to miss class the week of February 2nd-6th, please come to the next class (2/9-13) with your dancer to be measured at the end of class. If a parent/guardian doesn’t come to class during measuring week or the following week, the guardian turns over sizing choices to the teacher.

Costume Option 1: This costume is leotard based and includes tights. Assigned color matching tights are required with this option. These tights should only be worn on picture day, dress rehearsal and performance day. This option may include accessories. Your teacher will let you know which dance shoes you need for this option.

Costume Option 2: This costume is a pant and shirt based costume. Black socks are required with this costume. The black socks should only be worn on picture day, dress rehearsal and performance day. This option may include accessories. Your teacher will let you know which dance shoes you need for this option.

We rely on generous contributions from business sponsors to fund our stage decor and props, videography and photography, show staffing and much more to make our show run smoothly!

Do you know a friend or family member who owns a local business? Keep reading below on how to help us this season!

Business sponsors will have the opportunity to reach a large, engaged local audience. We currently have over 75 families enrolled, and our 2025 recital was attended by over 550 people.

We greatly appreciate your generosity. Any contribution you’re able to make is tax-deductible and sincerely appreciated by our entire team.

How to Sell Sponsorships:

Print the Sponsor information sheet and order forms linked above.
Go visit or reach out to your favorite local businesses or family/friends businesses and tell them all about sponsoring your studio this season.
Have interested business owners fill out the order form and either turn it in to us in class or have them email it directly to us (email to innovationartsconnection@gmail.com). They should also email us their ad materials (more info can be found on the order form).
You are welcome to collect check/cash from sponsors or sponsors can pay via online invoice by emailing us. Checks should be made out to Innovation Arts Connection.
Keep a list of the sponsorships you sell and send it to us once you’re done!

**Any dancer who sells at least 3 sponsorships will be entered to win a special recital bundle prize, including 3 FREE recital tickets, a squishmallow and a shoutout on stage at the show!
