“I wanted to take a few seconds to congratulate you and the rest of the dance staff on a fantastic Recital this past Saturday. We had a big crowd on hand to take in the dances from a very talented group of young ladies (and a few guys too). The biggest take away for me was the advancement in the kid's skill sets. Over the last 3 years, our dancers have improved dramatically while still enjoying the opportunity to get out on stage and perform. It was a wonderful afternoon, allowing the District to show off our advancement in "the arts". Feel proud of the work you have done to this point. All involved are the better for it. Again, congrats. Job well done.”

“Ms. Lora is a fantastic dance instructor and so much more. Our 5-year-old twins attend Ms. Lora’s ballet class through the La Grange Park District. The weeks they attended class live and in-person, Ms. Lora was fun, engaging, and managed to wrangle a room full of kids and keep them on-task and smiling the entire time. Then COVID-19 set in, and like every other group activity, ballet classes were relegated to on-line sessions. Of course this happened to every activity our girls attended, and some fared better than others in the new virtual format. I am very happy to say that Ms. Lora shows the same commitment to quality in her virtual sessions as we saw in her classroom. She has the rare ability to translate every bit of her talent, enthusiasm, and concern for her students to the virtual medium. Her mastery of the technology (in this case, Zoom) allows her to deliver a class that is every bit as vibrant and engaging as what we had come to enjoy at the Park District. She addresses each child directly throughout the session, reviews what was previously covered, teaches new skills, and treats all of the students with kindness, care, and respect that is very challenging to convey in an on-line format. Not only is her delivery second to none, but she also augments her curriculum with additional activities to keep them engaged and moving other days of the week. She even allows siblings to join in on the fun and treats them with the same care and compassion as her regular students. Both in-person and virtually, Ms. Lora is not just a superb dance instructor, but an exemplary educator. Thank you, Ms Lora!”
